January Empties

So I know I am a little late on this train but I’ve been super busy shooting a new Netflix series and didn’t have time to edit this until now. Here are my January Empties.

How I healed a rash caused by product reaction

A few days ago I had a terrible reaction to a cleansing balm (pictured below). Within 10mins of using it my face got covered in hives, I couldn't take photos because it happened at night, there was no light, and I took a antihistamine and proceeded with a calming gentle skincare routine and was much better the next day.

Healavie Cleansing Oil Gel REVIEW

When it comes to my night skincare routine, I might not always be in the right mood for a 10 step routine but I always, and I mean always, cleanse my skin at night. For days when I’m too tired or feeling t0o depressed to do anything, I like a cleanser that quickly and effectively removes makeup and cleanses my skin, so I can just spritz something and put on a sleeping mask and crawl into bed. Unfortunately lately these days have been more frequent than I liked to and that’s when this Healavie Cleansing Oil Gel comes into play.

REVIEW Ren Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel

This Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel (£11.20) by Ren was the first cleansing gel I bought when I decided to discard all the sulfates from my skincare routine (I've thrown away all the products I had that contained this substance). I chose REN exactly for their more clean choice of ingredients.

REVIEW Nourish Balance Nutritious Peptide Serum

I'm definitely a serum kinda' gal. I see the serum as the lingerie of our skincare routine and like I would never get dressed without underwear, I would never wear a cream without a serum first and this Balancing Serum by Nourish as been a favorite of mine since I started to use it.

REVIEW Aromatherapy Associates Soothing Cleansing Balm

I know the blog has been a little dead for the last few months and I could make up a thousands excuses for that to have happened but the truth is I just didn't feel like blogging for a long time. Today I woke up with the urge to write a review so here it is, for those who still want to read what i write :)

Why you should be putting oils on yo' face

In this day and age I find it really hard to believe that there's brands out that tell people not to put oil on their faces, particularly if they have oily skin! I mean c'mon people!!!

In order to be healthy all skin types, including oily, need a balance of water and oil and the right oil can be especially beneficial oily skin as it balances the oil production. You fight fire with fire, if you give your skin the oils it needs, it won't need to produce as much sebum. Most people think they have oily skin but what they have is unbalanced skin that is dehydrated and so it produces more oil to try and balance itself.

REVIEW Bare Minerals Mineralixirs Facial Cleansing Oil

I was lucky enough to get my hands on this beauty as soon as it launched but my cleansing oil stash was so big I only started using it a few weeks ago.

The Mineralixirs is a range formulated with 5 different oils (Grape; Sunflower; Apricot; Rose and Camellia) and is designed to moisturize and repair dry flaky skin, which makes it perfect for Winter dehydrated skin like mine.

REVIEW DHC Pore Cleansing Oil & Face Wash Powder

I have been using DHC products for a couple of years now but I don't think I've ever talked about them before. I've tried countless of their skincare and makeup but funnily enough I don't I have ever tried they're start product, the Deep Cleansing oil.

I've finished both these products a few months ago and have just found these pictures on my laptop so I'll give you a quick opinion on them.

My Rexaline Obsession

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

I have been obsessed with Rexaline for years and years and I think it's the brand I have repurchased more over the years.

I have tried almost every product from the Hydra Dose range but I seem to keep going back to these 3 over and over again.

REVIEW Dermalogica Sheer Tint SPF20

If you've been following me for a while you'll know I like very natural looking makeup, I don't like heavy foundations, powdered faces, I like very light coverage and dewy skin look. A couple of weeks ago I got my hands on the newly formulated Dermalogica Sheer Tint* and have been wearing it every since.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS on the Pixi Glow Peel Pads

If you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed that I went to the Pixi store this morning as I was really curious about their new skincare line, wanting to try the whole range but having so many skincare products to trial now, I made up in my mind I would only leave that store with ONE product. I ended up buying 2, but one was a lipstick so it doesn't really matter :p

REVIEW Lush Ultrabland Facial Cleanser

It has been a long time since I last wrote here but life has been tough and I had to get grips with myself before I could sit down, have a cup of tea and actually write about something and that finally came. I have a lot of catching up to do so stay tune for my latest skincare/makeup updates.

Today I'm reviewing the Lush Ultrabland Facial Cleanser.

My SPF Bundle

REVIEW Indeed Labs - Hydraluron Moisture Boost Facial Serum

[PT / ENG]

REVIEW Missha Super Aqua - Water Supply Essence

[ PT / ENG ]

REWIEW Kueshi Revitalizing Toner

[ PT / ENG ]

To Prime Or Not To Prime

[ PT / ENG ]
