REVIEW Dermalogica Sheer Tint SPF20

If you've been following me for a while you'll know I like very natural looking makeup, I don't like heavy foundations, powdered faces, I like very light coverage and dewy skin look. A couple of weeks ago I got my hands on the newly formulated Dermalogica Sheer Tint* and have been wearing it every since.

It's a very lightweight oil-free tinted moisturizer packed with hialuronic acid to hydrate and plump the skin; Hydrolyzed Pearl amino acids which give it  a luminizing effect without being glittery at all and Iron oxides for a sheer wash of color that make my skin look like Giselle Bundchen in the Chanel ad.

If you like full coverage foundation, this is definitely not for you and this has virtually no coverage, like I said before it only gives a very sheer wash of color, you still need to conceal blemishes although I always choose not to conceal mine because 1) I don't have a lot and 2) I really really love the "yes I have spots but my skin is still perfect" look :) The only thing I'll cover is my birth mark and the dark circle on my other eye if it's looking really dark.

I love the fact that this is formulated with SPF20 but I like to be safe so I'll still use my Filorga UV-Defence SPF50+ underneath. Dermalogica says you don't need to use a moisturizer underneath this and it's true if you have oily skin and require little hydration, but my normal-slightly-oily-dehydrated-skin needs a bit more so I'll either use my serums followed by the Hydraluron Moisture Jelly and the SPF before using this or I'll just use the SFP on top of my serums and then this, depending on my skin.

I use the color Medium and you can see before-after photos below.
