Healavie Cleansing Oil Gel REVIEW

When it comes to my night skincare routine, I might not always be in the right mood for a 10 step routine but I always, and I mean always, cleanse my skin at night. For days when I’m too tired or feeling t0o depressed to do anything, I like a cleanser that quickly and effectively removes makeup and cleanses my skin, so I can just spritz something and put on a sleeping mask and crawl into bed. Unfortunately lately these days have been more frequent than I liked to and that’s when this Healavie Cleansing Oil Gel comes into play.

It’s a 3-step cleanser: A gel that turns into an oil and then into a milky lotion. It comes out as a regular cleansing gel that you massage onto dry skin and once it reaches skin temperature it starts melting and turning into a cleansing oil. After melting all the makeup away, simply add warm water to emulsify and turn into a lotion which cleanses the skin, leaving in oh-so-silky, after you can either rinse with your hands or a face cloth, which is what I do, especially if I’m feeling lazier than usual. You can then do a second cleanse with this or other facial cleanser but I usually follow straight with toner on a cotton pad which comes out clear, meaning this cleanser removes every bit of makeup and dirt.

It has a mild and pleasant citrus smell and a honey like texture that melts into a very lightweight oil that is meant to clean all the fine dust out of your pores. I’m not sure about that but as I mentioned before it does remove makeup completely leaving the skin soft and hydrated, not at all stripped.

It’s formulated with loads of beneficial ingredients like Niacinamide, Dandelion extract, Copper Tripeptides and Vitamin C, all help to hydrate and brighten the skin, although I don’t think these ingredients stay on the skin long enough to do anything but it doesn’t hurt.
