REVIEW DHC Pore Cleansing Oil & Face Wash Powder

I have been using DHC products for a couple of years now but I don't think I've ever talked about them before. I've tried countless of their skincare and makeup but funnily enough I don't I have ever tried they're start product, the Deep Cleansing oil.

I've finished both these products a few months ago and have just found these pictures on my laptop so I'll give you a quick opinion on them.

The Pore Cleansing Oil ¦ £25 here*, is a thick oil cleanser that removes makeup effortlessly and cleanses thorougly. It promises to reduce sebum production and pore size but honestly I didn't see any changes on that department. It can be used as both a evening or morning cleanse and it leaves the skin perfectly clean and balanced.

It contains several natural oils and no mineral oil which is a plus for my skin, and every skin for that matter. It doesn't clog pores and you can either rinse it off (it turns into a milk when mixes with water) or remove it with a warm flannel which is my favorite way of removing any cleanser.

I might give this another go but I have way too many cleansers on my backup drawer at the moment.

Pore Cleansing Oil Ingredients List:
ethylhexyl palmitate, glycerin, polyglyceryl-5 dioleate, triethylhexanoin, water/aqua/eau, polyglyceryl-6 caprylate, isostearyl alcohol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, isopropyl lauroyl sacronsinate, phenoxyethanol, citrus grandis (grapefruit) peel extract, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, argania spinosa (argan) kernel oil, citrus reticulate (tangerine) peel extract, oenothera biennis (evening primrose) oil, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, butyl avocadate, sesamum indicum (sesame) seed oil, calendula officinalis flower extract, tocopherol, oryza sativa (rice) bran oil, butylene glycol, punica granatum extract, 10-hydroxydecanoic acid, sebacic acid, 1,10-decanediol, ascorbyl palmitate, propyl gallate, limonene

The Face Wash Powder ¦ £9.50 here*, is as the name says a washing powder, I rephrase that an exfoliating washing powder. You mix the powder with water until it lathers and then wash your face, preferably after using the cleansing oil as a part of a double cleanse.

This was my first washing powder but I really enjoyed using it, I do quite like foaming cleansers (there's something very satisfying about rubbing my face in foam) but I try to stay away from them as they tend to be a bit drying.

The DHC face wash powder is sulfate-free and contains hyluronic acid as well as protease enzymes which makes it a very mild, suitable for daily use, exfoliating cleanser. It's perfect for Summer but I especially enjoy using this during the winter as my second cleanse, every other day, as it helps to keep my face clear without any dry flakes.

Face Wash Powder Ingredients List:
zea mays (corn) starch, maltitol, potassium myristate, sodium cocoyl glycinate, sodium cocoyl isethionate, sorbitol, protease, dipotassium glycrrhizate, glycyl glycine, silica, water/aqua/eau, alcohol, honey/mel/miel, sodium hyaluronate, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower extract
